Who We Are
Pipeline Angels is a network of women and nonbinary investors redefining the investment space. Our mission is to generate capital, investments, and entrepreneurial opportunities for underrepresented groups in the startup ecosystem – especially, women and non-binary founders.
The world of investing continues to be male-dominated. According to PitchBook data, roughly 2% of venture capital has gone to startups founded solely by females since 2008. Today, we’re seeing an uptick in women founders and women-run businesses, but they’re still not getting the capital they need to grow.
Pipeline Angels believes that when more women and non-binary folk participate in early-stage funding as investors, more capital will be allocated to women and femme-identifying founders. In fact, we’ve already seen these results in the work that we do!
Our Story
Founded in 2011, Pipeline Angels has expanded across multiple cities, empowering women and non-binary individuals to become investors and to support startups led by women and non-binary founders. We believe in the power of diversity to drive change in the investment landscape.
